The GC SEE/ERMA is a division of the Global Campus of Human Rights, which is a special network consisting of more than 100 universities worldwide that collaborate to advance human rights and democracy through research and education on both regional and global levels. The Global Campus entered a long-term partnership with the Right Livelihood Foundation in 2019 with the primary goal of promoting the rights of children globally. The partnership is aimed at empowering children by enabling their participation in all decisions that impact their lives, both presently and in the future, in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and other comparable agreements. The Global Campus has pledged to reinforce its work in education, research, training, network-building, and advocacy on behalf of children’s rights. The collaboration between the Global Campus and RLF is exceptional because it strives to bridge the gap between academia and activism. This unique connection between academia and activism is put into action every year through the implementation of projects with real-world impact.
