Today was the last day of the Summer School on EUROPEAN INTEGRATIONS: 60 YEARS OF THE ROME TREATY at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the University of Sarajevo. All participants have successfully finished the school and received certificates for their active participation.
The school covered a range of topics related to the European Integrations in general, with several lectures focused on the case of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Western Balkans in particular, more specifically: “Politics and EU Integration,” “Religion and European Integrations/Views from inside and Outside,” “The Challenges of the European Integration Process for BiH,” “The Berlin Process and the European Perspective of Western Balkans,” “Better Regulation in EU: The Treaty of Rome and Cyberspace,” “Diverse Ethnic Heritage- Economic Consequences in BiH,” and “EU Integrations and Human Rights: Potentials and Problems.”
Our lecturers were Mr. Ivan Barbalić, a Former Ambassador of BiH to the UN and the Russian Federation, Prof. Dino Abazović from the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo, Ass. Prof. Nedžma Džananović Mirašćija also from the Faculty of Political Sciences; Prof. Azra Hadžiahmetović from the School of Economics and Business of the University of Sarajevo; Ass. Prof. Fatima Mahmutžehajić from the School of Economics and Business; Prof. Adnan Efendić also from the School of Economics and Business; and Mr. Miroslav Živanović, the head of Rectors Office of the University of Sarajevo.
Besides lectures students also visited the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and had an organized tour around the city of Sarajevo with a cultural tourism expert Ms. Armina Pijalović.
