About the Programme
In 2019, the Global Campus of Human Rights (GC) and the Right Livelihood (RL) launched a joint initiative to enhance the realisation of children’s rights globally, with a strong emphasis on meaningful child participation. As a result, the regional children’s rights project created the Child Leadership Teams.
As part of this initiative, the SEE regional Child Leadership Team (CLT) was established in 2023 by GCSEE in collaboration with regional partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
The CLT consists of children aged 12–17 actively engaged in children’s rights advocacy and consultation. In 2024, CLT members who turned 18 transitioned to a newly formed Youth Advisory Group (YAG), composed of members aged 18–22, continuing their activism and advisory roles.
